Extension Program

Au Pair USA’s Extension Program makes it possible for you to extend for an additional 6, 9 or 12 months. The extension program is a great way for you to continue to improve your English, bond with your host family, take new classes, and travel.

You have the option to extend with your current host family or match with a different family. Your extension request is due no later than 45 days before the start of the extension period. If you wish to extend, you need to complete all educational requirements before the end of your 11th program month.

During the extension term, you will continue to receive a weekly stipend, earned vacation and an educational stipend so you can complete courses during the extension term. Also, your 30 day travel period will be deferred to the end of the extension period.
