- Provide the au pair with a private bedroom that includes a window
- Pass a criminal background check and employment verification
- Submit two non-family references
- Meet with your Local Coordinator for an in-home interview
- Follow au pair program guidelines for working hours, job duties, compensation, and time off
In addition, host families agree to comply with the U.S. Department of State regulations, Au Pair USA program guidelines, and any additional guidelines related to having an au pair, as outlined in the Host Family Agreement.
